This series began when I was building a locket that opened to reveal Eve, Adam, and a tree with a serpent in it. I began to explore the story and thought a lot about our natural fears surrounding snakes and the dark, as well as the vilification of Eve in the story. As I imagined the Garden of Eden at night I thought of how moonlight and darkness change the way we perceive color. I have always thought of Silver as moonlight made solid, and so this series grows like a garden in moonlight.
